STEP 19 - RESPIRATORY SUPPORT

broken image

Changes to the bones and muscles of the chest and spine, the lung tissue, the nervous system, and the immune system can all affect our RESPIRATORY health.

Weakened lung muscles can contribute to a decline in overall respiratory health, leaving seniors at risk of an inefficient lung defense mechanism against infectious microbes.

In healthy people, this does not usually cause any issues—a reduced ability to exercise vigorously may be all that is noticed.

However, when seniors are exposed to infectious bacterial and viral microbes, especially in the winter months, it can take longer for the respiratory system to return to good function and it is easier for lung complications to develop, especially in seniors with poor health.

A respiratory illness can have a debilitating and prolonged effect in the overall health of older people, so prevention is very important.

Essential Oils may be used to help keep the LUNGS healthy and strong, and prevent winter threats taking hold.

Essential Oils beneficial for RESPIRATORY SUPPORT include:

  • EUCALYPTUS

  • PEPPERMINT

  • ROSEMARY

  • SIBERIAN FIR

  • COPAIBA

  • RESPIRATORY BLEND

  • PROTECTIVE BLEND

RESPIRATORY BLEND

The RESPIRATORY BLEND is a blend of Essential Oils including Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, and Ravensara.

RESPIRATORY BLEND can be applied topically to the chest, back, or bottoms of feet, or diffused.

PRACTICAL USES

  • Diffuse, inhale directly from palms, or rub on chest or feet when seasonal and environmental threats are high.

  • Use when outdoors to minimize the effects of seasonal threats.

  • Diffuse at bedtime for a restful night’s sleep.

  • Apply to chest before physical activity to promote easy breathing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

DIFFUSION: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
TOPICAL USE: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with carrier oil to minimize skin sensitivity.

You can also take advantage of our RESPIRATORY DROP LOZENGES. Consisting of Lemon, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Thyme, Melissa, and Cardamom Essential Oils, these great-tasting drops help to clean and soothe airways.

QUESTION – FOR MOMENTS WHEN YOU NEED RESPIRATORY SUPPORT, WOULD YOU PREFER THE RESPIRATORY DROP LOZENGES OR THE RESPIRATORY BLEND OIL?
